What could have been a front-of-the-book brief becomes a majestic tale, thanks to the writer's vision and confidence. The graceful pas de deux between the mainbar and sidebars is something rarely seen in independent school magazines. The stellar page design accentuates the wonderful writing.

A captivating story is woven with connections to the school's educational approach and the deep commitment of its educators—fantastic.

What a beautiful story of both teaching and learning! The combination of history and literature, along with academics and nature kept my interest and inspired me to want to know more. It made me want to pick up a Hemingway novel and start reading. Well done!

This quality of writing is what every independent school aspires to have in its magazine. Each piece told me something essential about the school and its people. The writer has a knack for getting great quotes and using them to best effect.

Captivating storytelling, framing big issues in a way that connects with readers first and explains school connections second - more than simply reporting on school news or showcasing programs. These stories show Phillips Academy at work.

Wow—what an amazing way to showcase the school's educational philosophy and successful outcomes through the beautiful and strong voice of an alumn. I loved hearing her voice first and then reading the supporting stories that provided more insights into the program; a great mix of emotional and rational storytelling.

The opening sentence, "The slow rumble of a midnight snowplow..." hooked me from the start. Interesting story with excellent copywriting.
