The effect of watching the transformation of a current student into a possible future path of excellence takes my breath away. It makes me want to go back to school myself! Wimbledon created the perfect blend of whimsy plus proof to present a convincing and informatives site. Bravo.

Start With Two Strategic Aims

Wimbledon High School wanted a new look and a website that would reflect the vibrancy of the school we love and our passion for the jobs we do. Interactive Schools brought that brand vision to life.

Our school motto is Ex Humilibus Excelsa – "from small things, greatness." We started with just two strategic aims: To promote wonder in learning and to show how every student leaves our care prepared to shape tomorrow.

We wanted to show girls and their families that exciting futures await all our students. The journey taking them there begins in a classroom full of wonder and imagination.

Spend 6 months

We partnered with Interactive Schools to create the strapline and imaginative “hero shots” that bring alive the vision. Their creative team came up with the doodle animation that has captured so many people's hearts around the world.

With tweaks here and there, we completed the overall look, feel, and all-important navigation of the website. We did all this in just six months.

Loved the interaction with the sketching and the photography and the story it told with the brand. Great work.

Garner Buy-In. Extend Reach.

The results were felt at school and farther away than we could have imagined. We've had wonderful buy-in from our Wimbledon High community and the website has an international reach. This award is proof of that!

Advice for Others

First, it’s so important to know what you want to achieve.

Second, stick to your vision and care about the small stuff.

Third, find a like-minded partner and work collaboratively to execute the project. Working with Interactive Schools, who share the vision of collaboration, we were able to push each other to achieve a great and visually unique website.

FINALLY, Dream Big

Who doesn’t want to dream about their future? Lots of us might still be wondering what we will be when we ‘grow up!’

Congratulations, Interactive Schools and Wimbledon High School. You are brilliant!
