We would prefer not to offer extensions past December 15—doing so has an extensive domino effect on us and your fellow judges.
So, if you think this deadline is too tight for you, please TAKE A PASS. We hope you'll join us for another year.

You score entries online on your own and at your pace. (We’re all remote!) Your scores will be combined with other judges in your category to result in the winners.
All materials are digital.
You’ll know your category(ies) when we send you your assignments on Monday, November 24, 2025.
You must recuse yourself from voting on your school’s or company’s entry.
Only one judge per school or business.
Please don’t ask friends and/or colleagues to judge with you. We asked you to judge for many reasons, not the least of which is that we admire your brilliance.
We require, as part of your role as a judge, that you promote entering the awards on your social channels, through your groups and associations, and to your colleagues. Please spread the sparks!

How many categories should I sign up for and what is the time commitment?
Judging time varies by category. Some categories take a lot of time, such as VIEWBOOK/PROSPECTUS and MAGAZINE. Visual categories, such as MAGAZINE COVER DESIGN, PHOTOGRAPHY, and LOGO, are less time-consuming. These could be combined with something else if you wanted to judge more than one category. Use your best judgment. We will do the same when we assign categories, knowing how many entries are in each category and the category's judging complexity.
Will I get the category I want?
Judges are assigned with preference going to the previous year's judges. VIEWBOOK/PROSPECTUS and MAGAZINE are usually in high demand.
When will I know which category I'm judging?
You'll get your assignment(s) when you receive your sheet(s) on Monday, November 24, 2025.
How many judges are there for each category?
Up to 6, but maybe more if there is a split category. (More on that in the Judges’ Homeroom.)

YES! Big Yes! We encourage you to do so! You just have to recuse yourself from judging your own work. So, if your work is in a category you're judging, you skip scoring that entry.
We have a formula that takes this into account and will not penalize your entry. If you would like a simpler solution, choose a category to judge that you know you won't be entering.
